Contact Title doesn't refresh on View Contact screen after Edit

    Contact Title doesn't refresh on View Contact screen after Edit

    If you Edit a Contact and update or add a Title and Save Changes, the Title does not update in the Header of the View Contact screen until the page is refreshed.

    Needs some Screen Focus actions

    And while you're at in could you PLEASE add the contact notes and Entity notes

    In MANY of our customizations and workflow training we use...

    contact notes for unique notes such relating to the contact

    Entity Notes for notes that sync with QuickBooks

    This consideration would be greatly appreciated!Smile

    Hi Mahlon,

    I've opened a ticket with development for this, I'll keep you posted.

    As far as the Contact and Customer Notes go, these fields already exist and can be customized into your screen(s). The Note field in the Contacts table is for contact notes, and the Notes field in the Entity table is for customer notes (and syncs with QB). For the View Contact screen, you'll have to link the Entity's Notes field into the Contacts table, but other than that all the fields should be available where you need them.

    I'm aware these fields exist... We use them all the time. 

    That's why I would like them on the native Method screens, instead of copying the screens for every new implementation I do.

    Hi Mahlon,

    We leave the Note/s field(s) out of our stock screens on purpose, to discourage their use in place of Activities.

    I understand that, how about putting something simple in the field placeholder to deter that?

    My point is there are many times in my workflow coaching where all we need is those two fields. Now I've got to make a copy of the screens to do this which means the client will no longer benefit from Method updates, just because we need a place to put notes that do not belong in an activity such as work schedule, etc.

    Any other Partners in the same shoes?

    This issue should now be resolved. You may experience a delay in loading your Dashboard as the updates are installed. Post back here if there's any issues.
