    Error when adding new contact

    Today, I went to add a new contact for a customer, which I have been able to do before.  However, when I try to save the contact I get an error that the "Full Name" field is blank.  I realized that the Entity name is not populating at the top of this screen to assign the Contact to a Customer.  After looking at the actions on screen load, it would seem that the Shared Result for "EditContact_EntiyName_SR" is not able to correctly pull the customer name associate with the contact.

    I have done no customization on the Edit Contact screen, but have done some on the Customers and Leads screens.  Where is the shared result saved and how is the best way to repair this broken link?

    Hi BLCPA,

    Make sure the Add Contacts... button on the Edit Customer screen is calling the Edit Contacts screen as a child of the current screen. I would recommend checking the actions wherever you're calling the pop-up from. You could also look at the stock screens to compare the actions and see where the issue might be.

    Hi Justin,

    Thanks for your response, but haven't been able to resolve the issue.  I confirmed that the Add Contacts actions are identical on my Edit Customer and Edit Lead screen as in the stock screens, and I have not done any editing to these. 

    The "Full Name" field is populating correctly on the Edit Customer.  It seems to me that the error has to be occurring in the "EditContact_EntityName_SR" shared result; however, I can't find where this shared result is saved to check what it is pulling.   This is the shared result that is supposed to pull in the Full Name to the "Add/Edit Contacts for" field on the Add Contact screen.  Any thoughts on where I can find this?  Is it on the Edit Customer screen somewhere? 

    I am having the same problem on both the Edit Customer and Edit Lead screen, if that helps at all.
