Method CRM Updates - August 26 - August 27, 2011

The following indicates which accounting application(s) the release note(s) apply to.
  • QBD = QuickBooks Desktop
  • QBO = QuickBooks Online

New Opportunity

  • Fix - the Activity Type dropdown list now filters to show only types with IsAppSpecific = No. (QBD & QBO)
  • Fix - the Follow-up Activity Type dropdown list now filters to show only types with Is App Specific = No. (QBD & QBO)

Edit Opportunity

  • New - Documents grid now has two new filter views. (QBD & QBO)
    • Shared Documents - which displays all documents that are viewable based on the Shared List permissions.  
    • My Documents - which displays all documents that are assigned to the logged in user.
  • New - you can now duplicate an opportunity from any tab section by going to More actions > Duplicate Opportunity.  In the past, you were only able to do this from the Additional Info tab section. (QBD & QBO)
  • New - each tab section now contains the same buttons as the first tab section, therefore cutting down the amount of clicks needed to navigate and perform screen functions such as Save, Go Back or Save & Close. (QBD & QBO)
